ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so confused right now! We have to write some essays, which I usually hate, but I don't know how many or in which courses. I got our assingments for EN-110 but then last week I found out I'm not really meant to take that course after all. (Yay!) So one less essay there.
But then the other day I heard we were supposed to write something for EN-105, which I thought along we were meant to just wasn't certain about, so I logged into the school system to download the assingments in that course. Guess what? Nothing there.
So I search around a bit more and find some in EN-104! So now IU don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Also, people are idiots! (Yeah, I'm using my freedom of speech here) The one time the politicians actually have a good suggestion for a new law people start whining because it'll supposedly take away our freedom of speech, when it's all really about respecting religions.

What is the new law in question? And what is it going to do? Respecting religion should be up to the individual. What if this 'respecting religions' extended to TV shows and would make shows like The Simpsons and South Park illegal?

When it comes to policitics, anything is possible. I do know sometimes the 'Freedom of Speech' can be ignored by many people....but of course this is going way off topic to what you are stressing about....
I've never been in a class that had what you are having but I did have a job that sorta did that. A job I once had, had me so confused. It was a call center. One supervisor would tell me, 'do it this way' and then 30 secs later another would come up and say 'that's wrong do it this way' and then another would come up and say 'do what you were trained' and the fourth would say 'do what the supervisor you have that night says'.
It was so bad I didn't know who to believe. I had to speak with the manager and they said 'do what you were taught'. I ended up quiting that job because they started saying I was away from my station longer than I actually was and basically calling me a liar

Don’t you just hate it when that happens? How are you supposed to learn/get anything done when you keep getting mixed messages? I had some teachers like some years ago and I seriously wanted to bash their heads at the end.
Freedom of speech being ignored by many? If only I could say the same for the people here… Many freak out if you simply state that you disagree with, for example, people who smoke. (There was actually this guy who threw his cigarette at me the other day.) But religious people can be bashed and nobody cares. Just because of the so-called freedom of speech. So apparently, you can think/believe/mean whatever you want as long as you’re not religious.
But in short, the new law is about not discriminating people because of their religion.
