Be a little bit more stricter on rpgs. Have a sign up sheet put in and rules as well. Have RPG Rules. All other sites do. They have the sign up sheets having to be a certian length for each section. Like how I once had my Pokemon rp, that's how strict rps on here should be. See I spoke to a lot of people about these sites and they think that the reason your not getting members is cause your not strict enough on rps.

There is RPG rules. The rules appear in every board as an annoucement "Announcement: RPG Procedures"
The basic reasons as to why many people may not be trying to join is ... - probably because it's more Nephlite/Nephrite base and not all fans are fans of him - Some people don't have time for forums and they just want to look - Not everyone is into doing RPGs - Some people will the forum may not be pretty enough or informational enough (no offense to Lady Miki, creator)
Not all forums need to have a lot of members, the more members there are, the more often the creator has to check the forum and keep up with the updates. And not all forums need to be base upon RPGs. I will never join a forum that is strictly for RPGs and if the rules are strict I won't do RPGs. I rather do what I when I want with my RPGs, if my partner(s) doesn't mind.
And I don't mean no disrespt towards Lady Miki in her choice of colors for the forum

Also there are people who don't want to be the only ones posting and there are some who prefer actual websites to forums, as they prefer to remain arms length from readers and people who love their work.

Not everyone likes strict RPGS. It's okay to require people to write 1 or 2 paragraphs in certain RPG fields, but when people are required to write 5-9 paragraphs for RPGS,then that's way too strict. The purpose of RPG rules is to make people feel welcome and relaxed, not to make people feel like they're back in school having to write a 9-paragraph essay for class.
RPGs are a way of escaping stress and reality. The stricter the RPG rules, the more people will feel stressed and uncomfortable.

yea what I hate is rpgs where you have to be modded by a mod of the forum for everything you do, and they make you wait a long time before your modded, having to wait for weeks and weeks on end adds more stress, it's a trust system I know on Pokemon rpgs people won't be unfair and have there Pokemon dodge every attack by another roleplayer and post that they beat that other roleplayer, I know people won't make unfair posts

Ok...this may sound like a stupid question, but to me it's not. What does 'modded' mean?

like a mod posting what happens to your character, or if its a Pokemon fight saying if your attack hit or not

on this one rp I'm in a Pokemon one I'm being forced into a battle I don't want, a mod had a police come up to my character saying: It is against the law to not battle someone without a good reason and the professor probably would want you to.
now that's not very fair

I don't want to sound like I'm being a b-itch here but at the start you were suggesting for Lady Miki to alter the rules to make them be more stricter for RPGs but yet you keep stating some of the stricter rules are unfair.
Or did I just totally misunderstand your suggestion in the first place?
