I hate it when someone asks me a dumb question that's so simple that even a 3 year old would know the answer to. Like for example. On a site when I was talking about my rp character I said,"Kairi's a good sport." And they said,"What's a Kairi." DUH! From my sentence you can just tell that I'm talking about a person, not a thing. That person is so stupid!

I think that person who asked that question was actually just being honest. "Kairi's a good sport." Your sentence makes it sound like it's a drinking game or some sort of recreational sport. It's very easy to misterrupt lines.

But you'd think they'd know, Kairi's a name for a person.

Perhaps to you they should think, but if someone has a hard time pronouncing the name, like myself at times, than it can get confusing.
Take a look at Transformers for example. In Transformers they have names of robots that we use everyday life. First Aide, Red Alert, Jolt, Hot Rod, Bumblebee the list can go on. Those are names of Transformers...Autobots at that, but we use those words in everyday life for emergency, insect, movement etc.
But I can see where you are coming from. I have had people ask me 'what are you talking about?' I would just simply explain to them what I was meaning. I may act a little mad, thinking 'are they nuts'. But there is nothing I can do about it, except to explain what I mean until they understand. In fact I've actually had that problem just recently. Just the last couple days of this post, I had nearly everyone I knew so confused because of what I was saying and it was frustrating, I've become emotionally drained.
