Thoughts in the Dark (Labyrinth)

I’m sitting here in the darkness,

Wondering what to do.

I fell through the hole above me

And now I am stuck.

What is this room?

I cannot see much,

For the only light in this room

Is coming from the trap door.

As I sit, I think about Toby.

He’s in a castle, surrounded by goblins.

He has no idea where he is,

But I do know that he is safe.

Until my thirteen hours are up,

The King of the Goblins will keep him safe.

But I have to save Toby,

Or the King will turn him into a goblin.

My thoughts drift to the king.

He is strong, attractive and very good-looking.

But he’s frightening and powerful.

Oh why did I wish Toby away?

I wonder if anyone will find me.

I wonder if the king knows I’m here.

Of course he knows I’m here,

This is his realm, his Labyrinth, his land.
