So why do think Nephrite had green blood? Was that the color of his blood all along? I personally think his blood was green because of the Plant Sister's attacks. As far as I know none of the other generals had green blood. In the episode where Jupiter first appears, she cuts Zoicite's face and the color is red. Why would they all have different blood? I don't know thats just my thoughts on the matter/

Sulfhemoglobinemia is the medical term for people with green blood. o.O Who knew that poor Nephy could have had an illness.

Or it could be that the creator wanted him to be different from the other generals.I see green blood individuals in video games(namely Mortal Kombat-the four-armed characters have green blood.).Anyways,I always believed that his blood would turn back into red if he was free of Beryl and Metallia.

I think they coloured his blood green because they wanted to keep the death scene from looking so gory. It's sort of the same thing they did with the gorier scenes in the comic series Tails From The Crypt, only they coloured them blue, not red. They did it to keep it from looking too horrible.

... We've seen red blood in shoujo anime long before that... and we... (well, some of the dubs) definitely saw red blood during the first season of Sailor Moon....

I think that is also a possibility. But then again,I can barely stand looking at him bleeding that much,so to me,it doesn't matter what colour it was.

The diffrent coloured blood trick is pretty old, people think diffrent when they see green blood for example, but with red they go all "Holy crap, ITS BLOOD!". In some japanese shows they censor by making the blood black, lol.
