The Japanese culture has always been something I would love to learn more about. In fact I would love to visit Japan someday. One thing I have learnt when I was in school, back in Junior high (mid 90s), is that they go to school six days a week and if there is a snowstorm and causes school to be cancelled, the school year will expand into the Summer break.
Just recently I learnt, by a Japanese American, that it's ok for girls to marry with permission by the age of 16. There is no secrets in Japan...I mean some do live in paper thin houses. Sex is a very open subject out there.
Did any of you Japanese culture lovers know that the woman never enters the house before the man, if the man is there? She is very quiet and very petite and they don't even have Christmas.
As much as I would love to visit the country, I sure would not want to live there, I don't like the idea of girls being able to marry by 16 or even how the women still 'obey' their men, and the most important one of all, they don't have CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR....I can't live witout Christmas, bring the lights, bring the snow, bring the gifts and trees....bring it all.
*rolls eyes* oops sorry got carried away, but I guess you guys can see that Christmas is my favorite holiday
