Even though I don't see any shooting or much blood, Dragon Ball Z wasn't edited out either cause the english version has a age limit which is,'13 and up.'
Actually it was. My brother and I watch much of the DBZ that was on TV and there was A LOT edited out. Now on the DVD, which my brother owns, nothing was edited out. There's actually scenes where it shows the guys literally peeing and shows that part of the body, that was an edit in the original English version. But in the DVD English version, it's there.
Dragon Ball Z was originally dubbed in 1989 and was later redubbed in 2001 with less editing and now redubbed yet again uncut and the same voice cast as 2001. I have seen all 3 versions and even have some of the episodes on blank VHS tapes from the 1989 and 2001 dubs. In the original Dragon Ball, it actually shows little Goku, touching teenage Bulma, while she was sleeping, and even removed her underwear....that is a major edit from the original dub.
Princess Cosmos
you were saying about watching TV. yes agree to a degree and then I also don't agree to a degree. Parents are sometimes stupid and let their children watch what they want when they are too young and then there are children who watch because parents say it's forbidden....But there are parents who explains things when the time is right and then that child won't try and watch a forbidden show. I was raised like that.
If I asked a question about adults. My Mom would either tell me the truth and give me somewhat what I needed to know or she would say 'when you're a little older'. By the time I was 11 years old, I knew everything there was to know about the adult world and I learnt it by my parents telling me the truth when I asked for it. Many parents will say 'I'll tell you later' and when that later comes they still won't tell so children have to learn their way. See many parents won't teach their children even when they are old enough to learn.
