This may not really be a vent, but it's important enough to be talked about. Here in Canada there has been over 30 young teenagers who have died from this virus. This virus first appeared in April in Ontario, Canada. It was contained and now there's a 2nd wave of it attacking, killing more people. Many schools are now half emptied because of this as many students have the virus. And now I just learnt that some places in the states are also being attacked by this virus...
Although, I do think the media is making this virus out to be worse than it actually is. I mean the virus is just like the normal common flu virus but with a few extra side effects and apparently it can kill. Though there is many people with it and the news is only reporting like 5 people and 1 dies....what about the 300 or 3000 who have it and haven't even said anything and are actually healing from it without drugs?
It's a good idea to keep an eye out for it, but always keep a rational head about this.

I told you about H1N1 and you said that canada didn't have it, and there has been one report that a cat caught it in iowa, but has recovered. I think the media is making a very big deal, because it is a very big deal! It is a very much big deal here in the states, for the longest time everyone was in quarantine because of it. Recently they have released a vaccination for it, but are treating the ones that have a better chance of getting it, like small children, elderly and pregnant women. The first case to break out in florida, was here at the base i'm stationed at. A kid came into medical complaning of the symptoms, and all medical did was to give him a med pack (which consists of codeine and ibuprophen) within a few days his entire barracks building was infected, he was our first case of it. There have been a total of 6,394 deaths total because of this, which 1,482 is North America alone. So I very much think that this is a big deal. Now all the regular commercials have been changed like lysol, the used to say that lysol kills bacteria and germs that cause the flu and colds, now they added in "kills bacteria and germs that cause the flu, colds and H1N1" it is a very much a big deal out here. So everyone is taking as much precaution as possible. I mean there's billboards everywhere, and commercials that state if you're sick stay home, always wash your hands, and sneeze and cough into your sleeve not into your hand, discard all your tissues, i mean yes it is the flu but a regular flu can't kill you this can. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:H1N1_map.svgThe black represents confirmed deaths and infections The Red represents confirmed infections The yellow represents unconfimed infection

I told you about H1N1 and you said that canada didn't have it At that time, I didn't think Canada had it. The virus has only been made publically about 2 weeks ago. And it was in Ontario. A week later reports start to come in that it was British Columbia and now it's in New Brunswick and other parts of Canada.
